Sierra Leone Relief is a pro active outreach and relief organization, partnering with other non-profits (NPO) and non-government/non-political organizations (NGO) with like objectives. SLR promotes self sufficiency with educational programs in civil society, in an environment where personal friendships are established across barriers an ocean and culture differences that separate people. A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization registered with the IRS; contributions are tax deductible.
Our Projects are designed to help them make the transition from poverty to self-sufficiency. By tactically establishing schools and small development projects in impoverished communities, we can show that their commitment to make the transition from relief to development is achievable at a grassroots level within a three to five year period.
